Chichien Ike :  Let nobody get me wrong, I sympathize with the people of France and families  that lost their loved ones, similar tragedy to what happened in France has been happening in  Nigeria and other African countries including parts of Mideast, never seen a white person  change their DPs, they just click next page, even we Nigerians ignore as if it's not our business,  my question is why do we hate ourselves so much?? My favourite Yoruba woman, read ur history, learn from her

Image
Almost no yorubas left on my FB page. I will not SUBSCRIBE to tribalism against the Igbos and  ‪#‎ Biafra‬ . We killed THEM and boasted about it. Gen Obasanjo, Col Rotimi, Gen Ibrahim Taiwo etc etc. Oluwole Rotimi was fired by Yaradua as NG Ambassador to USA for his Biafra comment to Ojo Maduweke NG Ambassador to Canada, OBJ still boasting "We will do to Boko Haram what we did to Biafra-OBJ 2015", Ibrahim Taiwo assassinated same day as Gen Murtala Muhammed on a Friday the 13th an evil day in 1976. I no longer spend the N20 note in Nigeria. These were not heroes. Ojukwu was the real hero we were told to hate. It took years for me to know that. My father was the only Yoruba leader at his funeral. Those yoruba youth who say they saw Tinubu there were hallucinating. Both Taiwo and MM ordered Nigerian Army into Asaba and killed 700 innocent civilan men, raped their wives, daughters and ruined the town. Google Assaba massacres on Wikipedia. U are on your internet. We as Yoruba ...

French police have identified the first attacker involved in a series of assaults across Paris, which left at least 129 people dead and wounded hundreds more. Omar Ismail Mostefai was a 29-year-old Paris native whose detached finger was found overnight at the Bataclan concert hall, the scene of the bloodiest attack. Six Days to Kogi Poll: Two-horse race too close to call

Image
The central senatorial axis looks favourable to the PDP. With the APC governorship candidate coming from the eastern flank and his deputy, from the west, the axis was hoping of securing their son for the minister’s position. Unfortunately, the appointment of Barr. James Ocholi, from the eastern flank as minister, coupled with the wrangling in  the APC in the area, may give the PDP  the upper hand. read full story:  http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/six-days-to-kogi-poll-two-horse-race-too-close-to-call/

Biafra Is No Threat For Nigeria - Igwe Nwokedi

Image
Igwe Alex Nwokedi, the Uthopo na Eze Achalla, Anambra state, in the interview granted to the Vanguard has shared his views on the calls for Biafra. Nwokedi was a press secretary to the head of state during the military regime of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. He also served in the same capacity during the early days of Alhaji Shehu Shagari administration. Obasanjo was an active participant in the Nigeria/Biafra war in support of the Nigerian military effort to defeat Biafra. The civil war which occurred from 1967 to 1970 was an attempt by some states to break away from Nigeria and establish an independent Biafra state. A veteran journalist was speaking on the brewing agitation for Biafra in his part of Nigeria. How should France deal with aftermath of Paris attacks?

Image
As Paris is rocked by attacks yet again, questions are raised over government's ability to restore sense of security. It's just ten months since the Charlie Hebdo attacks brought panic and bloodshed to the streets of Paris. And now as the year draws to a close Parisians have woken up to a state of emergency, following a series of coordinated attacks across the capital, that killed at least 129 people. Security was stepped up in Paris following the attacks in January. But many people will now be asking if the new measures have had any effect in keeping France safe. Gunmen carried out just the kind of attacks that the security services had long feared, using automatic weapons and suicide belts in crowded areas on a busy Friday night. French President Francois Hollande said Friday's events were "an act of war", and blamed ISIL for planning and coordinating the attacks from abroad. So, where does France go from here? And how does the governm...
